I'm going to say this one final time & it should be the last time I need to say it...

No Editing another persons posts. I don't care who you are.

I must agree with Luke. "The purpose of the edit function is to remove profane or pornographic material. Other than that, there is no reason." which is why only administrators are allowed to edit another persons post. It is in my mind, abuse of administrative powers to do so. If you feel that strongly that a post is in need to be edited, you state why in the edit comment box... ie... posts removed for profanity... ...post deleted do to use of racial slurs.... something to that effect. You don't change someones words and make a joke out of it or to make them look stupid or some such thing.

Nuh-uh, occasionally it forgets to display the last time a post was edited, and indeed, if it even was edited.

Usually it only appears if you put in an edit reason.
