| A project I may be working on.
I plan on building the city of Midgar and its separate little areas, such as the Sector 5 Mako Reactor and Aeris' Church. I drew an overhead map yesterday, which you can view here.

| Final Fantasy VII.
Midgar is the capital city of Gaia, nicknamed the Floating City. Game screenshot: http://www.isotx.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/midgar.jpg
Midgar also houses the main quarters for the Shinra Electric Power Company, which pretty much controls the planet. They're housed in that tower area in the middle. The eight structures with steam coming out are Mako reactors, which provide electricity by sucking the planet's life energy (called "Mako" by the Shinra) and processing it. The shot and mine are of the upper plate, where the middle class and the wealthy live in paradise. Underneath is a slew of junk and impoverished homes for the poor, who make do with what they got. Midgar is eternally dark due to pollution and Mako deficiency.

Work on this map will be postponed indefinitely until I can figure out how to get it to process.
